Dr Ruggiero Lovreglio (Rino) is a Senior Lecturer in Building Technology at the School of Built Environment of Massey University (New Zealand). He works as independent consultant on projects focusing on Evacuation Simulations, Pedestrian Simulations, Building Information Modelling (BIM), Data Analysis, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality.
Dr Lovreglio has over 10 years experience in research on Evacuation Modelling and Pedestrian Dynamics. He has published over 50 articles in international journals. He is an Associate Editor for multiple international journals: Safety Science, Fire Technology, Frontiers in Computer Science, and Frontiers in Psychology. During his career, he has been working with over 100 collaborators from 15 countries.
